I began my career in loan origination working for my Dads mortgage banking company in 1993. During my time at the mortgage career, I was able to help many in my community with financing purchase their first home or refinance their current loan.
After doing some market research, I realized that by being a broker, instead of working for a lender, I could actually help more people and offer better rates.
I decided at the beginning of this 2022 to make a change and become a broker. While I enjoyed my time as a Lender, becoming a broker was the best thing I could have done.
Instead of only being able to offer one wholesale lenders products, I could now shop amongst hundreds of different wholesale lenders for the best rate for my clients. I choose to work with a broker who is one of the largest, and because of its size, is able to negotiate preferred pricing and service for its client.
It's quite simple. As one of the largest brokers in the nation, C2 Financial gets preferred pricing and service from its wholesale lenders. This translates into better rates and quicker closings for you.
But being a large company and closing a lot of loans on its own doesn't make the company great. What makes the company great is its commitment to the borrower to always do the right thing. We make a commitment and stick by it.

Our titles vary. We are mortgage consultants, loan originators, loan officers, and mortgage brokers. What does not vary is that every day, borrowers like you entrust us with one of the most important financial decisions of your life, that if not executed properly can have long-lasting repercussions as was witnessed in 2008 during the mortgage meltdown.
We know that despite our best efforts and the government's best efforts to regulate the mortgage industry, our borrowers are too busy to review every last line of every single document . Our borrowers trust us as their mortgage adviser and that what they are signing is in their best interest. We do not take that responsibility lightly.
We do what is in the best interest for you, our client, not what is best for our pocketbook as some other brokers before us have done. We know by doing this, we not only are doing what is morally and ethically right, but we know this belief system will result in our borrowers referring us additional clients, the underpinnings of a long term relationship.
